This program is designed to get you ready for the upcoming season and have you highly prepared for team training & competition. It will support your on pitch perofrmance by developing your movement skills, building functional strength, reducing risk of injury while increasing lean mass, work capacity & robustness. This program contains 3 seprate sessions: - Lower Body - Total Body - Upper Body Initially with a focus on building your Movement Efficency & Functional Strength, this program will build in volume across the first 4 week phase & then bleed into a second 4 week phase focusing on Strength & Power. If completing this program in tandem with team/sport training: - Lower Body Sessions should be followed by a recovery day. - Ideally Total body sessions should be followed by a recovery day. - Upper Body sessions can be completed on the days before/after/between team training.

About

Strength & Conditioning Coach

Barry Solan is currently the Lead 1st Team S&C Coach at Arsenal FC. Prior to this, Barry has worked extensively with athletes & teams at amateur, professional & international level in Ireland, The UK, Europe & at EXOS in the US. These coaching roles have encompassed a wide varitety of both team settings including the Poland National Football Team, Mayo GAA, Arsenal FC & individually with gold medal winning & world champion boxer Katie Taylor & Golfer Shane Lowry. Barry has a major interest in developing training programs that fit the athletes needs in tandem with preparing both athletes & teams individually & collectively to perform in their sport with a consistently high output. Barry holds an honours degree in Sport Science from St Marys University, London & MSc in S&C and Exercise Science from Edith Cowan University, Perth, Australia. He is further certified through numerous professional bodies.
